Matthew & Naomi Shields
 

Matthew has been on the mission field with his parents since he was five months old.  He accepted Christ as his Savior at age 7. He felt the Lord’s calling to full-time service in Mexico at age 16.

Matthew attended Ambassador Baptist College where he met Naomi. He graduated with a degree in Pastoral Studies, she with a degree in Sacred Music. They were married May 5th, 2002 and have a son Caleb (b. 03-03-03).

Matthew and Naomi have been serving in Mexico since July 2003 alongside Rick and Robin Shields.  Responsibilities include pastoring Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, teaching at the Bible Institute and Christian academy, holding weekly meetings for the local Christian men, and monthly youth rallies for all the churches under the Shields ministry.
