After asking her mother a few
questions about Heaven, Susan prayed and received Jesus as her
Savior! That was the beginning of her spiritual life. When Susan
was 13 years old, she dedicated her life to God for whatever He
wanted. While growing up Susan was able to go on two missions’
trips. God placed a special love in her heart for the Hispanic
people and soon broadened her vision for missions and reaching
people around the World. In college, she went to Brazil for her
third mission’s trip. After this, Susan was willing to be a
full-time missionary if that was God’s will for her life.
While at Pensacola Christian College, the Lord used Isaiah 6:8
during her devotional time, and Romans 10:14 through a sermon at
church to confirm God’s call to her to go to a Spanish-speaking
country. Her prayer was, “Here am I; send me.”
After joining Baptist Mid-Missions, Susan wanted to go to a
Spanish-speaking country that had a need for a single lady to work
with ladies and children. Because there was a need in Argentina,
Susan went to visit the country, and then raised support to go
there full time as a Church Planting Assistant. She has served
there for the past four years.
This next term will be spent trying to train some nationals to be
able to take over positions that she has had a part of during her
first term. The field is “white unto harvest” in Argentina as
there are still many Provinces where there is no known Fundamental
Baptist Church. Please Pray that God will raise up more laborers
to go to the Harvest Field of Argentina.
