The Story of Woodside Baptist Church
1988 • The Founding
Planted with a Vision
By the grace of God, Pastor Craig M. Scott and a core group of 13 adults planted Woodside Baptist Church, passionate about serving the Lord and reaching others for Christ. God quickly brought new families together around a shared desire to serve Him and nurture the next generation.
Building Restoration
A Permanent Home
When God provided our current facility, the church insisted that the building and grounds be fully repaired, transforming the property into a place for spiritual and community life.
Did You Know?
The facility’s original indoor swimming pool was filled in to create Woodside’s very first auditorium. Later, an outdoor pond on the grounds was transformed into a beautiful park area now used for church picnics, barbecues, volleyball, and soccer!

Continuing the Mission
What began with 13 adults has grown into a vibrant church family committed to knowing Christ, strengthening families, equipping young people, and serving the Lord.
As Woodside looks to the future, we celebrate God’s faithfulness and the transition of Pastor Jono into the role of Lead Pastor as he guides our congregation into its next chapter.
